I will listen, Lord.
I will hear you out.
What you say to do, I will do my best to do.
When you tell me to halt, I will halt.

I can hear you--something--telling me there is more.
You know that I know that you know my fears,
So I will not pretend to hide them from you...
But I will ask for courage, and wisdom, and strength.

To hear you as rightly as possible with these ears,
To stand as strong as I can on these frail legs,
To put one foot in front of the other,
I will do this, only with your help.

So I open my ears to you,
Close my eyes and stand very still,
Waiting for your command...
